A dream destination for anybody that loves the Lakes; as soon as you pull into Park Avenue, you know you are at the heart of one of the most famous towns in the world. The ideal place to forget the hustle and bustle of city life, whilst giving enough locally to keep you entertained for your holiday, welcome to Beckmead House.
Step inside the welcoming entrance hall. Hang up your coats and dog lead and kick off your muddy boots in the porch, after a long day walking in the beautiful Lake District. To the left, discover the cosy living room and cuddle up with the family on the sofas and bean bags and enjoy an evening of watching your favourite films on the Smart TV!
Returning to the hallway, you will find the dining room and your well-equipped kitchen. The spacious kitchen is fully fitted with all the essentials for your holiday and ample space for slicing and dicing! Cook a delicious meal and sit down at the dining table with the whole family to enjoy a heart-warming meal. There are also dog bowls in the dining room for your furry friends to enjoy their meals too!
Slip through the kitchen to discover a surprising addition; the sociable cinema room! A huge room, filled with a huge 65″ Smart TV, a cosy corner sofa and bean bags, along with boards games and a darts board! The perfect place to have fun and socialise with your family or friends. Access to the garden is through the back door out of the cinema room.
Head back through the dining room and climb the carpeted stairs to reach the two floors of bedrooms. Comfortably sleeping 8, each of the four double bedrooms are all fitted with TV’s and en-suite bathrooms, complete with lovely views of the streets of Windermere and the surrounding fells. There is also nursery equipment available (travel cot and highchairs), making it the perfect family retreat, equipped for all your little ones needs.
Free parking is right outside Beckmead, or there is a car park 0.5 miles away. Pull on your shoes to explore outside. Out the back of Beckmead House, you have a private yard area, with chairs and tables to enjoy a glass of fizz on the warm summer evenings or those crisp blue-sky mornings for coffee and pastries. There’s also a pretty stream at the back of the garden!
