If you’re looking forward to an action-packed summer in Cumbria, then any holiday would not be complete without a visit to one of our renowned agricultural shows. Teaming with traditional sports and activities such as Westmorland wrestling, show jumping and terrier racing. Not mention an extensive selection of local foods and Lake District delicacies. Indulge in a delicious hog roast whilst sampling some of the counties finest craft ales. Or enjoy a cream tea (jam first!) with front row seats to the sheepdog show.
If you’ve got little ones in tow, there is always an abundance of gorgeous baby animals and child-friendly activities to entertain any age group for hours whether it be a kite show, fairground rides, petting areas, or sports activities.
